Barry University offers carpool parking spaces to students, faculty, and staff that carpool to and from campus. Register your carpool with Barry University and South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) by completing the following form. You will receive a parking permit in the mail within 7-10 business days which will allow you to utilize the carpool parking spaces. Your carpool registration will be valid for the semester. You will receive a renewal notice from SFCS 30 days prior to the expiration date printed on your permit; including instructions on how to renew your registration.
In order to use the designated parking spaces located at Barry Univeristy, your carpool:
- Must operate three or more days a week.
- Must consist of two individuals entering and parking at the campus.
- On days when the carpool does not operate, you are not eligible to use the preferential parking carpool spaces.
- Must have a valid Barry University parking permit and an SFCS parking permit in the vehicle
- Only one permit is given to each carpool group
Emergency Ride Home Program – You and your carpoolers will automatically be enrolled in the South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS) Emergency Ride Home (ERH) Program. If email addresses are provided for you or your carpool partners, you will automatically be enrolled in SFCS’ online ERH voucher program. If you would like to receive SFCS pre-printed vouchers by mail, contact an SFCS Customer Service Representative.
Registering your carpool will also make you eligible for any promotion or incentive offered by South Florida Commuter Services.
